Yep, it’s final. Bette Midler has announced the final performance of her critically-acclaimed show, “The Showgirl Must Go On,” will be Jan. 31, 2010. The final performance will mark the end of a successful, two-year residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

By the way, that sound you hear is the stampede of folks getting tickets before it’s too late!

Bonus Bette fact: She was voted "Most Talkative" in her senior year of high school.

Gary Selesner, president of Caesars Palace, probably said it best: “Bette always will have a home at Caesars Palace.”

The remaining performances of “The Showgirl Must Go On” will be Nov. 7-15 and December 30 to January 31, 2010. The show is dark Monday, Thursday and occasional Fridays.

Tickets for these final performances are on sale online here (use keyword “Bette Midler”) or at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace Box Office (open from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily).
