Vegas Seven magazine has announced its restaurant awards, and one of the stand-outs is Payard Patisserie & Bistro at Caesars Palace, taking home honors in the category of “Best Lunch.”

This blog has touted Executive Chef Gregory Gourreau’s prix fixe lunch menus for, oh, ever. How the price of these delicious, three-course lunches sits at $21, we have no clue, but we’re happy to see Payard receiving the accolades it so richly deserves. Read about the award for Best Lunch in Las Vegas.

Chef Gregory Gourreau

Chef Gourreau, two minutes before calling security. Kidding! It was about 10 minutes before calling security.

Of course, you’ll want to take a look at our stunningly impressive photos (and meticulously researched, if you consider eating lunch “research”) stories about Payard Patisserie & Bistro and the best lunch in Las Vegas.

And read our Q&A with Chef Gregory Gourreau.

Payard Tiramisu

The Payard Tiramisu we'd sell our sister for. Which, we suspect, would be inappropriate, but completely worth it.

Payard

Cornish hen. Almost makes a person wish they had two sisters.

It should also be noted that among the award recipients were Bradley Ogden at Caesars Palace for “Best Bar Menu” and Mon Ami Gabi at Paris Las Vegas for “Best Patio (on-Strip).”

“Bon apetit!” Which, we’re fairly sure means, “Eat up!” We are a Las Vegas blog, not a translator of things into French, thanks.
