20 Vegas-Inspired Halloween Costumes

Las Vegas is known around the world as Party Central for Halloween (and just about every other occasion you can think of), so it’s not surprising that Sin City also provides great inspiration when it comes to Halloween costumes!

If you’re like us, you’ve waited until the last minute to choose a Halloween costume, so here are 20 costumes inspired by the greatest city on Earth, Las Vegas.

Everybody loves an evil clown, and the “Freaks” show at O’Sheas had one. (Note: “Freaks” is no longer at O’Sheas. Sigh. Doesn’t mean you can’t still be a freak in Vegas on Halloween!) Why a staple gun? Well, those cards are actually stapled to Sleazo.

This opens up a whole world of costume possibilities. Choose your favorite casino game, and start the brainstorming! Dice, cards, slot machines, roulette wheels…they’re all fodder for creative costumes.

The popular statue above is at the crossroads of Paris Las Vegas and Bally’s, just as you exit the self-parking garage. Again, once you’re bronze, just hold really, really still.

Sure, it might take some doing, but you’ll wow your friends and co-workers if you show up on Halloween as Las Vegas’ renowned “Welcome” sign, currently residing on the south end of the Strip.

  7. Nice ideas! I’m thinking about being a peacock this year. It looks a little like the showgirl costume but the rear is a little more covered. lol If you find a group of guys that can dress up like those Chippendales with the pecks, please let me know! I want to go to that party. lol I wish we could get away during Halloween to check Vegas out! I bet it is sooo much fun.

    Great idea. We really miss those guys having a show on the Strip. Might want to check out Dirk Arthur at O’Sheas if you like big cat magic. We just shot some video of him playing with a tiger, will post it shortly!
