Vegas Headliner Britney Spears Releases New Music Video Tonight, More Show Details Leak
Soon-to-be Planet Hollywood performer Britney Spears is about to show off her hard work when the much-anticipated music video for her new single, “Work Bitch” premieres tonight on The CW during the network’s presentation of night two of Vegas’ iHeartRadio Music Festival. The special airs from 8-10 p.m. but Spears tweeted her video will air exactly at 9:34 p.m. EST.
Showing off her hottest look in years, Spears has been teasing fans the past few weeks with sneak peek pictures and videos of the desert-shot video through her social media channels. It’s clear the blonde bombshell has been working on her fitness, as her toned body is as rocking as the song itself.
“Work Bitch” is the first track off her upcoming album, set for a Dec. 3 release date. Just 24 days later, she’ll debut her Vegas resident show, “Britney: Piece of Me,” that’s currently being designed as tickets are rapidly selling out. In a new Billboard.com interview, its director, the sought-after Baz Halpin, reveals just how big of an undertaking the 50-date, two year engagement is. Being that it’s Spears’ first show of this kind with fans flying in around the world to see her up close in an intimate venue, the pressure’s on to make it an elaborate, one-of-a-kind spectacle chock full of stunning visuals and the latest in video, lighting and sound technology. Halpin said Spears has a clear vision to showcase both iconic moments of her career in a modern way as well as incorporate her new techno-influenced sound complemented by the theater’s nightclub-like environment.
Halpin hints that Spears has been free to let her imagination run wild with concepts to wow her fans, and to expect segments inspired by her famous “Circus” era and another influenced by Japanese cinema. Along with a four-piece band and 14 dancers, expect a dance floor near the anchor-shaped stage, plus colossal projection screens that wrap around the theater walls, tables with bottle service and Spears memorabilia displayed in the lobby.
