Today’s Vegas Hook-Up: Sugar Factory Happy Hour

There are plenty of sweets to be discovered at Sugar Factory inside Paris Las Vegas, but the new restaurant-bar’s Happy Hour just might be the sweetest of them all.

We visited the Sugar Factory’s casino bar and immediately encountered a pair of gargantuan Lollipop Passion cocktails being enjoyed by some guests who gave it high, albeit somewhat garbled, praise.

Brace yourself. Actual drink is much larger than it appears. Times infinity.

There’s a reason we saw the concoction traveling in pairs. The colorfully-adorned Lollipop Passion is a somewhat steep $36, but during Happy Hour, it’s “buy one, get one free.”

We had to try a Sugar Factory cocktail for ourselves and fixed our gaze on the Swedish Fish. The Swedish Fish is $14, but with the two-for-one deal, it’s right in our price range and delicious beyond words.

If we were ever going to propose marriage to a cocktail, this might be the one.

This frosty beverage was inspired by the red candy fish enjoyed by millions, and a few can even be found floating in the drink. Captivating flavor and quite a nice kick, too.

Happy Hour at the Sugar Factory is 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., seven days a week.

We know how you skim, so we felt this was worth repeating.

Of course, you won’t want to miss the Sugar Factory American Brasserie restaurant, the Chocolate Lounge and Sugar Factory retail store. There, you’ll find untold culinary delights as well as a few, uh, surprises.

This ain't your grandpa's candy store. Probably.

Aw yea! I had one of those Swedish Fish cocktails – to die for yummy! Wish I had enough friends along to share a goblet with.

  2. Because if you’re going to drink yourself unconscious, might as well throw in a diabetic coma.

Wow! Man, those are big. The photo doesn’t really do them justice. Admire your courage!
