Shake it, sugar – shake it like a Polaroid picture!

The famous words of Southern hip-hop duo Outkast come to reality as the highly-anticipated Polaroid Fotobar opens today at The LINQ, the outdoor shopping district between The Quad and Flamingo. This is also the first time Polaroid Fotobar hits the West Coast.

While the museum won’t open until mid-April, the state-of-the-art shop is now up and running. You know all those fabulous selfies, group photos and adorable pet moments you have stored in your phone or tablet? Now you can print them right away.

Ooh, la la: Get picture-happy at Polaroid Fotobar inside The LINQ and print instantly.

The 4,000-square-foot retail space offers the experience of a lifetime. Print photos with Polaroid’s iconic white border for a retro look, or you can choose from other way-cool formats.  These include framed shadow box collages, decals, magnets, canvas and much more. If you’re visiting from out of town, you might just need a bigger suitcase.  This blogger’s extremely excited to print out all her cat photos and lovey-dovey shots with the hubby. Get ready for Garcia Gallery, everybody!

If this all seems awesome but a bit overwhelming, don’t fret. The staff is happy to help you with any specific photo needs or questions.

Spanning 4,500 square feet, the second -level museum opens April 17 and will feature breathtaking works from four renowned celebrity photographers – Lucas Michael, Maurizio Galimberti, Marc Serota and Maripol. The gallery includes famed artist Andy Warhol’s “Capturing Celebrity” exhibit, showcasing 50 of his best celebrity snapshots. The museum can also be booked out for private events and can facilitate up to 300 people.

The museum will also display photographer Tim Mantoani’s “Behind Photographs,” the world-famous 20×24 Polaroid camera, rare artifacts from Polaroid’s historical collection and history of Polaroid’s founder, Edwin Land.

After getting an up-close look of these amazing photos, who knows? It might even spark some inspiration.

While you’re here at The LINQ, snap and print photos of the dazzling High Roller, Brooklyn Bowl’s marquee and the nearby fountain – all awesome shots and not to mention, a great way to memorialize your Vegas trip.
